Super hard water, big old house, always replacing faucets, scrubbing mineral stains, trying to improve water pressure. Tried a whole-house filter, it made no difference. Don’t want a sodium system (I’m a former cardiac nurse). My excellent plumber talked me into this system, and it has changed everything. We’ve had it for 9 or 10 months, and our faucets and fixtures are corrosion-free. It appears to have cleaned out the pipes (as the company claims it does), because our water pressure on the third floor has improved from a trickle to a genuine shower-quality stream. I’m completely happy with this. One less house issue to deal with.

We have had it for 3 1/2 years now. After about 6 months we noticed our water heater started making an awful banging sound. I thought it was about to die. Then my husband connected a hose to it and drained the heater and a ton of white chunky stuff came out. The Nuvo had caused all that build up inside the heater to come lose and that is what was making all the noise. It cleaned the water heater out completely and now it works like new. That was impressive.

Installation was quick. We hired a plumber who had the skills and tools I don’t… money well spent.
The first result was much cleaner hard surfaces (sinks, counter tops, shower, bath tubs, toilets.) Cleanup is incredibly easy without solvents/cleaning products. Hard water rings in toilet bowls disappeared after a month or so, and bowl maintenance is a snap. The hard water junk left in toilet tanks dissolved and simply flushed away. Hard water buildup in the dish washer disappeared rather quickly. Shower heads self-cleaned up in a couple of months.
The second result was softer fabrics from the washer/dryer. Clothing feels much more full-bodied. (not a plus in Arizona summers… but oh well!)
The third result was cleaner skin without having to use excessive water to try to wash off the slippery feel other systems leave. Quick clean body feels good.
The fourth result was the apparent restoring of flexibility in tap seals. Taps work smoothly. Turning them off takes less pressure; the seals work again.
Our system is going on three months, and we could not be happier. 5 stars is not enough! Congratulations on developing an excellent way to get soft water.
