Hot Water Tanks

You are here: Home / Hot Water Tanks

Our Hot Water Tank Services

Do you have less hot water than usual or find yourself turning up the tank’s temperature to maintain the same water temperature? Is your tank more than 8 years old? Have you noticed small leaks coming from your tank?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, it’s probably time to replace your hot water tank. At Canuck Plumbing, we offer emergency and scheduled hot water tank replacements. Whether you want the same model or an upgrade, we can help you find the best product to fit your needs.

What should you do if you no longer have hot water?

  • If there is no water leaking from the tank, then it may just be an issue of re-igniting the pilot light. There should be instructions to follow on how to do this on the side of your hot water tank.
  • If you notice that there is water leaking from the brass valve on top of your tank, do not attempt to plug or stop the leak. The valve will need to be replaced, but if you tank is 8 years or older consider replacing it rather than paying for a repair.
  • If there is water leaking from the bottom of the tank, it is likely the drain valve. This valve will need to be replaced if you cannot tighten the tap to stop the leak.
Don’t wait until your Hot Water Tank fails, ask us about our scheduled replacement services today. Just want to know more about our services? Give us a call (780) 997-0996
